About the position

The Store Manager at Russell Cellular is responsible for leading a retail team to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales of wireless products and services. This role involves managing daily operations, training new hires, and creating marketing strategies to enhance sales performance. The Store Manager will also be involved in hiring, scheduling, and ensuring that the store meets its sales goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate retail sales of cellular phones and wireless services to the general public.
• Create additional sales opportunities through creative marketing campaigns.
• Increase knowledge of telecommunications products and services continually.
• Observe retail sales reps selling process, teach best practices, and ensure delivery of top-tier customer service.
• Seek additional sales through creative marketing and community involvement.
• Develop and monitor action plans for the accomplishment of daily/month sales goals.
• Prepare Wireless Specialist reviews with approval from the District Sales Manager.
• Facilitate new hire sales training program and ensure required elements are completed.
• Pre-screen job applicants and conduct all interviews.
• Hire new employees with approval from the District Sales Manager.
• Conduct disciplinary action plans as needed with approval from the District Sales Manager.
• Manage shift scheduling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills; ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
• Motivation and an inner drive to learn, grow, and excel.
• A knack for technology and the ability to learn wireless quickly.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Outgoing, motivating, confident, positive team leader with an amazing ability to inspire others.
