About the position

The Sales Strategy and Operations Lead at AWS will support the Specialist and Partner organization by leveraging data and analyses to drive business insights and develop go-to-market strategies. This role requires strong organizational, project management, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on improving reporting tools and processes to enhance data availability. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure optimal decision-making across the global team, managing multiple workflows and communicating complex analytical results effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business partner to ASP leaders, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.
  • Deliver improvements to reporting tools, methods, and processes used by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data.
  • Manage the administration and execution of the team's targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, and driving various demand generation campaigns.
  • Manage the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.
  • Work directly with large data sets, models, and technical tools supporting them to derive insights.
  • Collaborate with leadership in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and Compensation.
  • Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
  • Drive simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems.
  • Support the Annual Planning process by completing deliverables for territory, quota and goal submissions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
