About the position

The Sales Strategy and Operations Manager at Amazon Advertising LLC plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the sales organization through data-driven insights and strategic process design. This position involves leading projects that improve sales workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that sales managers have the necessary information to execute their roles effectively. The manager will utilize strong analytical skills to identify process gaps and develop scalable solutions, while also influencing sales teams and communicating complex data analyses clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination to deliver results based on a predefined timeline, mapping and managing interdependencies and potential risks.
  • Support teams in responding to, investigating, managing, and resolving complex and high-impact problems and escalations around data that impacts Sales.
  • Analyze existing process gaps and develop solutions to close them, driving towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems.
  • Work with customers to gather and document business requirements, propose solutions, evaluate feasibility, and work with Product to prioritize features.
  • Use high-level judgment to own complex decisions and escalate to leadership when required.
  • Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
  • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
