About the position

The Sales Strategy and Operations Senior Analyst at Verkada plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales organization. This position involves analyzing data, improving workflows, and developing strategies that enable the sales team to operate more effectively. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into business operations and contribute to the company's growth in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pull ongoing and ad hoc reporting for weekly/quarterly business reviews and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and implement improvements in current workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and visibility, potentially using Salesforce.com or other tools.
  • Build programming and content to help new hires onboard quickly, tracking effectiveness metrics to identify top and bottom performers.
  • Engage with stakeholders across sales, marketing, ops, product, and finance to troubleshoot systems issues and develop future-state processes.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure analyses to answer key business questions and drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
  • Ability to tackle problems independently and document solutions clearly for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to connect with various teams and drive efficiency.
  • Flexibility to manage change and ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a startup.
  • Strong academic achievement preferred; previous Sales Operations or GTM Strategy experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data architecture and building effective data systems.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $160,000 USD based on experience and skills.
  • Potential for additional compensation through sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
