The Sales Strategy & Enablement Performance Manager III role is a pivotal position within our organization, located in Trenton, New Jersey. This full-time role is designed for an individual who is passionate about driving sales strategy and enabling performance across multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Strategy SBU Directors to evaluate, analyze, and access strategy change information, making informed recommendations and adjustments to pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies. This position is not only about analysis but also about execution, as it involves managing across 2 to 3 SBUs and acting as the primary liaison with the internal business planning and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) teams. In this role, you will be responsible for evolving and developing customer, brand, and channel strategies by leveraging a variety of analytical tools such as Numerator, Circana, and Sequoya. You will create compelling selling stories through channel shifting analysis and oversee the performance of data and analytics systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively. Your ability to develop execution plans will be crucial in addressing business gaps and achieving growth targets. Additionally, you will identify, evaluate, analyze, and organize work with the Brand, Sales Strategy, RGM, and Sales teams to communicate specific sales opportunities and potential risks related to class of trade or retailer dynamics. Monitoring compliance with the DSMP and providing impact analysis will also be part of your responsibilities. You will lead discussions on new item validation with NPD/Brand and field sales, ensuring alignment and tracking against in-market results. Furthermore, you will coordinate customer-level tracking necessary for implementing and executing specific brand product transitions, such as formulation changes or downsizing. As the primary Sales Strategy link to the Business Planning Process and RGM Process, you will lead analyses on shipment versus consumption and potential diversion impacts. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and advancements in data analytics will be essential to enhance performance and deliver better business outcomes. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and strong communication skills to effectively influence and drive results across the organization.
