About the position

ADP is seeking a Sales Strategy & Ops Specialist to join our Commercial Operations Center of Excellence team. This role is pivotal in driving insights and supporting our sales organizations by enhancing reporting and analytics. As a key member of the team, you will leverage your analytical and technical skills alongside your business acumen to maintain and improve our reporting metrics and analysis. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders and operations partners to ensure timely responses to critical business needs. We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, intellectually curious, and capable of finding innovative solutions to business challenges and opportunities. In this position, you will perform comprehensive analyses on processes to identify bottlenecks and challenges, ultimately seeking opportunities for improvement. You will optimize internal and sales processes using tools such as Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate. Your responsibilities will also include creating and analyzing modern sales reporting and metric packages utilizing SQL, Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, and other software. You will play a crucial role in identifying and eliminating obstacles while improving and automating processes and reporting. Effective communication of updates, challenges, and changes across sales leaders and key stakeholders will be essential to ensure an outstanding client support experience. Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end analysis on processes to identify bottlenecks and challenges to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize internal and sales processes using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Create and analyze modern sales reporting and metric packages using SQL, Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, and other software.
  • Help identify and eliminate obstacles while improving and automating processes and reporting.
  • Manage quick turnarounds in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Communicate updates, challenges, and changes effectively across sales leaders and key stakeholders to ensure outstanding client support experience.
  • Bring an analytical and problem-solving mindset to standard challenges.
  • Partner, in a mentor capacity, with internal associates to ensure alignment in deliverables and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and expertise internally and externally to enable fast, accurate prioritization and decision making.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Operations Experience (e.g., Sales Ops, Revenue Ops, Marketing Ops, FP&A).
  • Strong analytical and technical skills (Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL).
  • Ability to formulate problem statements and structure analyses to identify root causes, provide options, present findings, and support decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and client expectations, and self-prioritize.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced evolving work environment.
  • Self-starter with confidence to own and manage processes as well as a team player.
  • Project Management background is a plus.
