About the position

StretchLab is seeking an experienced Sales/Studio Manager to oversee sales and operations for its stretching studio in Arlington, VA. The primary focus of this role is on membership sales and retention, ensuring that the studio functions effectively while promoting wellness and fitness. The Sales/Studio Manager will lead a team, implement sales strategies, and maintain high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all studio functionality with a primary focus on membership sales and retention.
  • Generate leads through Grass Roots Marketing and Networking.
  • Implement sales processes to schedule prospects into Intro sessions.
  • Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts.
  • Manage sales staff schedule and supervise membership advisors.
  • Develop proficiency in ClubReady software, including revenue and attendance reports.
  • Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio.
  • Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible.
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of fitness sales experience.
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Membership Advisors in sales techniques and meeting sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner and area director frequently.
  • Excellent communication and strong people skills in person, on the telephone, and via email.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
  • An affinity and passion for wellness and fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software (e.g., ClubReady).
  • Ability to reliably commute/relocate to the Arlington, VA area.
