About the position
A Sales Supervisor is a selling position with additional responsibility to support running the store efficiently and effectively in partnership with the GM and AGM. As part of the leadership team, the Sales Supervisor is a step for a Stylist who has the desire to develop their leadership skills and continue their career in management, and or for someone who has experience at a supervisor or manager level prior to joining John Varvatos.
Responsibilities
- Accomplishing monthly sales goals as a selling leader.
- Supervising, directing, and supporting the team in the absence of the GM and AGM.
- Maintaining security of the store and understanding the operations of the store security system.
- Ensuring the opening checklist is complete and all store standards are ready for opening.
- Setting and communicating the daily goal for the store and each associate.
- Completing the POS and cash drawer closing process during store closing.
- Assisting the GM and AGM in the VM presentation of the store.
- Protecting store keys.
- Complying with all company directed policies and procedures.
