About the position

The Sales Support Administrator at Core-Mark plays a crucial role in supporting the sales teams by managing purchase orders, maintaining customer profiles, and ensuring effective communication within the team. This position is essential for the smooth operation of the sales process and contributes to the overall success of the company's food distribution system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the sales teams by obtaining purchase orders from Sales Representatives or producing pro forma invoices and entering them in NetSuite within 24 hours.
  • Assist the sales team with follow-up tasks, including order confirmations and bookings.
  • Maintain and update customer profiles in NetSuite.
  • Monitor remaining contract balances upon order entry.
  • Follow all policies and procedures regarding safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or other management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years' office administration experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
