About the position
The Sales Support Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales teams at Core-Mark by managing purchase orders, maintaining customer profiles, and ensuring effective communication within the team. This position is essential for the smooth operation of the sales process and contributes to the overall success of the food distribution system in North America.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the sales teams by obtaining purchase orders from Sales Representatives or producing pro forma invoices.
- Enter purchase orders in NetSuite within 24 hours of receipt.
- Assist the sales team with follow-up tasks, including order confirmations and bookings.
- Maintain and update customer profiles in NetSuite.
- Monitor remaining contract balances upon order entry.
- Follow all policies and procedures regarding safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or other management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2+ years of office administration experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Nice-to-haves
- 4+ years of office administration experience.
- Experience in the foodservice distribution industry.
