About the position

The Sales Support and Marketing Coordinator position at Stampede is an entry-level role focused on providing in-house sales support and assisting the marketing team. The role aims to enhance customer satisfaction and brand awareness among B2B and B2C customers. It serves as a steppingstone for candidates to gain exposure to various business areas and demonstrate high performance for potential promotion within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with account set up.
  • Work directly with the sales team to prepare monthly pricing and product specification updates.
  • Coordinate purchase orders from receipt to delivery at the customer's facility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage product issues and returns, including processing returns to stock and obtaining management approval for credits.
  • Coordinate logistics for competitive product samples, including pick-up and payment.
  • Review and maintain customer commitments, price lists, and new product rollout schedules.
  • Alert supervisors and operations of new deals and product needs via memos.
  • Handle international exports, including government documentation and USDA inspections.
  • Run various reports for different departments and customers.
  • Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorming initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations and coordinating mockups and packaging photo shoots.
  • Assist in producing artwork, sourcing images, and checking copy for marketing materials.
  • Drive strategic campaign development and manage tactical day-to-day campaign deliverables.
  • Identify and propose ideas to promote general awareness of the company brand.
  • Originate and deliver marketing communications across multiple channels, including social and digital media.
  • Maintain Stampede's and its affiliates' websites.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a sales or marketing role, even if through internships or academic projects.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Basic graphic design skills or experience with design software.
