About the position

The Sales Support Coordinator at Semitronics Corporation is responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support to the sales and customer relations team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of sales processes and contributes to the overall success of the company's semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in managing client accounts, including processing orders, preparing quotes, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on order status.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and order details.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential leads, track industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence to support sales strategies.
  • Provide introductory information to new customers.
  • Conduct data entry of all customer orders and respond to customer inquiries regarding product orders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to support ongoing business and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical information and assist customers with any questions they have regarding products and services offered.
  • Respond to customers by phone and email, including requests for quotes, applications, pricing, and product availability.
  • Assist in following up on open quote requests by part number and bring them to closure.
  • Manage backlog and open order reports for customers in the internal system.
  • Develop accounts by checking customer history and following up periodically.
  • Communicate with the supervisor regarding any customer issues or potential problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role, preferably within the semiconductor or technology industry.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor devices.
  • Motivation to learn product offerings, capabilities, and systems to effectively sell products and services.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
