About the position

The Sales Support Coordinator at Corteva Agriscience will act as a liaison for supply chain and logistics activities, providing administrative support to sales providers, dealers, and field sales personnel. This role involves diagnosing needs, responding to inquiries, and serving as a subject matter expert in sales programs and processes to support the success of the sales provider's business and achieve commercial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison for all supply chain and logistic activities related to sales providers and field sales personnel.
  • Make business decisions regarding inventory movements and logistics situations impacting the company financially.
  • Provide high-level customer service on product supply support to assigned Sales Providers.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all assigned Sales Providers.
  • Communicate proactively with the field sales team on various topics and integrate changes effectively.
  • Coach Sales Reps to drive desired behaviors using a business mindset.
  • Handle tasks related to agency commission and year-end settlements, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Respond to and resolve questions regarding program processing and credit customer service inquiries.
  • Evaluate Sales Providers' needs through effective questioning and problem resolution skills.
  • Support teammates to ensure high performance across the Sales Area and Commercial Unit team.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all sales programs to ensure timely customer service.
  • Work with internal teammates to enhance performance across the Supply Chain Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred, or an Associate's degree in business or related field with relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in agriculture, Supply Chain and Logistics, and/or customer service with leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn specific product knowledge related to sales support.
  • Strong communication skills, including telephone, email, and presentation skills.
  • Strong computational skills with experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse groups and solve problems in a self-managed work environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and implement changes.
