Responsibilities

  • Handle complete order processing from initial inquiry to sales order sign off.
  • Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and uses.
  • Consult with customers after sales or order confirmation to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
  • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
  • Explain features of products and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure monthly order goals are met.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or previous experience in customer service or inside sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Influencing, negotiating, analytical thinking, and time management skills are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years inside sales or customer service experience in selling doors or building materials industry.
  • Sage 100 or Sage CRM experience.
