About the position

The Sales Support Representative (SSR) at Medical Priority Consultants Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional Account Manager (RAM) and ensuring smooth operations within the Sales department. This position involves communication with various stakeholders, including the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams, to manage client relationships and assist with order processing and project management. The SSR operates in a hybrid work model and is integral to maintaining client engagement and data accuracy in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Support Regional Account Manager (RAM) by submitting new orders, tracking orders, and investigating shipping & billing errors.
  • Provide quality assurance by refining and updating renewals for existing client records and maintaining renewal reports.
  • Manage relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and engagement.
  • Assist with scheduling consultations and training opportunities for clients.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve customer issues efficiently and maintain relationships with other teams.
  • Maintain accurate account information in Salesforce, including updating account types and statuses.
  • Coordinate projects for the Sales team, such as tradeshow planning and compensation approvals.
  • Monitor the Sales Support Dashboard to ensure all reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Generate leads by identifying agency needs and qualifying interest for the RAM.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in a sales support or related role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, with Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management in a sales context.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes in sales operations.
