About the position

The Sales Support Specialist I at Pacific Seafood is responsible for maximizing company revenue through exceptional customer support and logistics management. This role serves as a vital link between customers and production management, ensuring timely order shipments and high customer satisfaction. The specialist will also explore alternative shipping processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while achieving sales and logistics goals set by the sales manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned accounts and assist in day-to-day operations of the sales force and all customers.
• Increase sales through regular contact with our existing customer base.
• Identify customer needs and meet product/shipping requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with outstanding customer service and establish creative approaches to solving customer issues.
• Facilitate positive and productive business relationships.
• Understand budget and forecast revenue goals.
• Understand sales volumes and logistic options.
• Inspect orders shipping out of South Bend 3x/week.
• Meet and work to exceed sales quotas.
• Involvement with miscellaneous projects, including promotional items and marketing materials.
• Communicate inventory, sales, and packaging strategies to team members.
• Move with a sense of urgency.
• Support outside Sales reps (Credits, Sample requests, POS, Etc.).
• Interface with other shellfish sales associates in other plants.
• Answer phones and clear orders.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Entry level position

Nice-to-haves

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university in culinary arts, aquaculture, or business degree.
