About the position

At Sierra Pacific Industries, we are currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Sales - Commercial Territory Manager. This role involves selling factory direct wood and clad window and door products to our customers within key markets of the Chicago sales area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering timely quotes, building and maintaining business relationships, and creating a solid customer base. The position requires the ability to identify potential customers and knowledge of territory construction activity, as well as the ability to successfully cold call and help customers identify their needs. Meeting or exceeding customer expectations is a critical aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sales experience, with prior experience in construction and window sales being a plus. A working knowledge of residential construction practices is preferred, along with window and door product knowledge. Familiarity with the commercial and architectural community is also beneficial. The candidate should possess the ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer and math skills, as well as being organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, are essential traits for success in this competitive environment.
