The Sales Territory Manager will assess manufacturing plants to determine equipment needs, which may require climbing ladders and mezzanines averaging 15 feet in height. The position demands a proactive approach to achieving designated annual sales quotas and requires collaboration with other sales managers and departments within Yamato, such as Applications Engineering and Project Management. The role also includes providing monthly reports and forecasts, utilizing a CRM system to manage the sales pipeline, and participating in quarterly sales meetings and trade shows, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital equipment sales, particularly in the packaging industry, and will be expected to develop a proficient knowledge of all Yamato equipment to effectively meet customer needs.
