As a Territory Manager for Sashco, Inc., you will be responsible for managing the home improvement segment within the North Central territory, which includes states such as Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa. The ideal home base for this position is Rapid City, South Dakota, but applicants from other states within the territory will also be considered based on their experience and cultural fit. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in outside sales environments, particularly in the home improvement or building materials industries. You will leverage Sashco's value proposition, which includes high-performance positioning, merchandising collateral, marketing, and promotional programs, to enhance product placement and sell-through among both existing and new customers. In this position, you will spend approximately 75% of your time on the road, engaging with customers and teaching them how to successfully utilize Sashco's products. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with users, retailers, and distributors, ensuring that they understand the value of the products you represent. The role offers considerable autonomy, allowing you to manage your territory effectively while being accountable for achieving sales targets. You will also have the opportunity to participate in industry events and buying markets that align with Sashco's strategic plan. Your first six months will involve a comprehensive onboarding and training program designed to familiarize you with the company's systems, processes, and products. This training will include a mix of in-person, virtual, and field experiences with your manager and peers. As you progress, you will take ownership of your territory and assigned accounts, working towards mastering the skills necessary for success in this role.
