About the position

At Sierra Pacific Industries, we are seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Sales - Residential Territory Manager to sell windows and doors to our customers, factory direct, within key markets of our Chicago sales area. This position is crucial as it involves selling factory direct wood/clad window and door products, preparing and delivering timely quotes, and building and maintaining business relationships. The ideal candidate will create and maintain a solid customer base, identify potential customers, and have a strong understanding of territory construction activity. The role requires the ability to successfully cold call and help customers identify their needs while meeting or exceeding their expectations. The Sales - Residential Territory Manager will be responsible for engaging with customers directly, understanding their requirements, and providing tailored solutions that align with their needs. This position demands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer and math skills. Attention to detail, organization, and self-motivation are essential traits for success in this competitive environment. Previous sales experience is preferred, particularly in construction and window sales, along with a working knowledge of residential construction practices and window and door product knowledge.
