About the position

At Sierra Pacific Industries, we are currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Sales - Residential Territory Manager to sell windows and doors to our customers in the Portland, Oregon sales area. This position involves selling factory direct wood/clad window and door products, preparing and delivering timely quotes, and building and maintaining strong business relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will create and maintain a solid customer base, identify potential customers, and possess knowledge of territory construction activity. Successful cold calling and helping customers identify their needs are essential components of this role, as is the ability to meet or exceed customer expectations. The Sales - Residential Territory Manager will be responsible for understanding the local market dynamics and leveraging that knowledge to drive sales. This includes staying informed about construction activities in the area and utilizing that information to identify new business opportunities. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer and math skills. Attention to detail, organization, and self-motivation are critical traits for success in this competitive environment. Applicants should ideally reside in Portland or the surrounding areas to effectively manage the territory and engage with local customers.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer and math skills
  • Attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated
