About the position

The Territory Sales Manager plays a crucial role in the ongoing development of existing and prospective Enovis customers, focusing on driving sales growth for the Chattanooga and LightForce product lines. This position involves performing field promotional work and managing relationships to sell and develop both new and existing business opportunities. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and achieving sales revenue goals and targets for their assigned area through the implementation of strategic and tactical sales activities. This role requires coordination and facilitation of resources to drive revenue through various sales teams, including Inside Sales, Regional Account Sales, and Clinical Sales Teams. In terms of sales activity, the Territory Sales Manager is accountable for achieving assigned company goals and objectives through sales to designated accounts. This includes cultivating customer relationships by initiating contact with physicians, clinic staff, and other device users. The manager must understand the competitive landscape, industry trends, and the company's position in the market. They are expected to be knowledgeable about clinical science and the mechanisms of action of Enovis platforms, providing demonstrations and education on technical and clinical aspects of products to customers, prospective customers, and patients. Additionally, the manager coordinates technical engineering services to develop solutions tailored to customer needs, prepares price quotations, negotiates terms and conditions of sales, and assists with equipment delivery and setup as needed. Sales territory management is another critical aspect of this role. The Territory Sales Manager develops and executes a business plan designed to exceed financial, market, and product portfolio goals for their assigned territory. They utilize Salesforce to maintain up-to-date contacts, opportunities, targets, and outcomes, ensuring a comprehensive and effective strategic call plan that drives positive sales results. The manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new sales opportunities, performing region penetration coverage, and maintaining efficient time management skills to maximize customer contact and service. Customer relationship management is vital, as the Territory Sales Manager develops and maintains key customer relationships to achieve account objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. They respond to customer needs and concerns, manage dealer relationships, and foster strong connections with Regional Account Managers and the dealer network. Competitive selling is also a focus, as the manager proactively cultivates competitive opportunities, defends against competitive threats, and provides presentations and demonstrations to customers on the application and use of Enovis products. Compliance with the Enovis Compliance & Ethics Program, the Enovis Code of Conduct, and all applicable regulations is essential. The Territory Sales Manager must treat Protected Health Information (PHI) with strict confidentiality and acquire a basic understanding of regulatory compliance issues. Administrative responsibilities include completing tasks such as expense reports, surveys, business plans, and regional reports in a timely manner, as well as developing systems to organize and track information.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales or relevant Customer Service for Territory Manager; 5 years for Senior Territory Manager.
  • Experience selling capital equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build constructive relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills tailored to audience needs.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
