About the position

This position is for Midwest Motor Express (MME), a sister company of AAA Cooper Transportation (ACT). The company is currently seeking a Logistics Sales Territory Manager for its Colorado Springs, CO Terminal. The ideal candidate will have a background in less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation and will be responsible for driving sales and expanding business opportunities within the assigned territory. The starting salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required. As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be tasked with calling on regular and prospective customers to solicit new or expanded business opportunities. This involves conferring with customers to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services. You will ensure the professional handling of the company's products and services, preparing proposals and bids to secure sales. Planning and organizing your daily work schedule to effectively reach existing and potential customers is crucial. In this fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, you will keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call reports and weekly work plans. Monitoring competition is also a key responsibility, as you will gather current marketplace information on competitive pricing and services, recommending changes in service and pricing based on your evaluations. Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions is part of your role, as is maintaining professional and technical knowledge of the transportation industry. You will provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer revenue, contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Responsibilities
