About the position

The Sales Trainee position at Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is a non-exempt role designed for individuals looking to develop their careers in sales within the electrical distribution industry. This approximately 24-month rotational program provides comprehensive training across various company functions, including Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Account Management, Outside Sales, and Purchasing. The program aims to equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful Account Managers.

Responsibilities

• Learning all aspects of the CED business
• Attending classes online as well as in-person at various locations
• On-the-job training and mentoring
• Establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with solar customers
• Goal planning with Division and Training Managers

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor's Degree
• Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)
