About the position

The Sales Trainee position at The Cason Group is designed for individuals looking to start a career in sales within the insurance industry. This role involves comprehensive training over 12-18 months, focusing on developing skills in sales, customer service, and industry knowledge. Trainees will work closely with various departments to understand operations and sales support, ultimately leading to a position as a Sales Representative or Regional Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with various departments to learn and perform aspects of TCG operations and sales-support roles.
• Coordinate and communicate regularly with Sales Representatives on prospecting, appointments, and advising agents and clients.
• Drive results by passing all RDP certifications and performing with excellence in meeting departmental metrics.
• Stay current in the industry by obtaining relevant Life and Health Insurance licensures and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, carriers, quoting requirements, prescreening, underwriting guidelines, and TCG procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective sales presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with compliance of deadlines while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams); knowledge of databases.
