About the position

The Sales Trainee Program at Graybar is designed to provide a comprehensive mix of formal and hands-on learning experiences. Trainees will gain exposure to various areas of the business before transitioning into a Sales Representative role. This program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in sales, supported by an extensive training curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar's sales and distribution process
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
• 4 year degree preferred
