About the position

The Sales Trainer at Wyndham Destinations plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales team's performance through effective training and development programs. This position involves delivering training to new hires, supporting ongoing education for existing sales representatives, and ensuring compliance with sales processes. The Sales Trainer will work closely with senior leadership and various departments to identify training needs and implement strategies that drive sales success and improve overall team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Wyndham's 'Play to Win' new hire training curriculum in a classroom setting using iPads.
  • Facilitate the 'Road to Success' 12-week follow-up training for new hires.
  • Ensure completion of online tests after each training module.
  • Conduct 'Reunite for Results' sessions within 45 days of class graduation.
  • Oversee the completion of WVO Sales Compliance online courses during new hire training.
  • Select and work with underperforming sales reps for improvement initiatives.
  • Report monthly on actions taken with JumpStart reps to the Regional Director of Training.
  • Provide follow-up coaching and facilitate continued education and topical trainings regularly.
  • Support new technology rollouts and train site leaders accordingly.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year successful Wyndham sales experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Club Wyndham, WorldMark by Wyndham, and Shell Vacations Club.
  • A minimum of 1 year sales management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record with the ability to T.O. tables.
  • Specialist Presenter experience preferred.
  • Must obtain a real estate license or timeshare license in the state of residence, if applicable.
  • Thorough understanding of Wyndham's products.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective time management skills.
