About the position

The Sales Training Instructional Designer at Boston Scientific is responsible for developing, designing, and administering training content and programs for the Neuromodulation sales team. This role involves establishing success metrics for training programs, managing training materials, and enhancing the capabilities of the Learning & Design team. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure training effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive sales training curricula, including content outlines and learning objectives.
  • Produce engaging training materials such as presentations, e-learning modules, and assessments.
  • Develop storyboards and scripts for multimedia elements like videos and simulations.
  • Implement assessment strategies to measure training effectiveness and analyze performance data.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and sales leaders to validate content and ensure training meets team needs.
  • Work on strategic projects with sales leadership to develop the Neuromodulation sales team.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to influence training strategy.
  • Manage the global training budget with the Finance team.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning, sales, and/or marketing or training development and design.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with external vendors/consultants.
  • Strong project management experience and strategic thinking skills.
