About the position

The Sales Training Manager for the US Coronary and Renal Denervation business at Medtronic is responsible for developing and executing training strategies that enhance the sales force's product and clinical knowledge. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create training content, deliver live training sessions, and support the introduction of innovative medical solutions to healthcare professionals. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring that sales representatives are well-prepared to address complex medical cases and contribute to the company's competitive presence in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales training strategies for the US Coronary and Renal Denervation business unit.
  • Partner with sales training and marketing teams to execute live Springboard new hire training sessions.
  • Collaborate with global sales training and marketing to develop and update online training modules.
  • Lead the development and execution of online sales training for the launch of drug-coated balloons in the US.
  • Create and implement training content for sales representatives and management on Medtronic and competitive products and clinical data.
  • Engage with sales representatives and trainers in the field to gather feedback and identify training opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during interactions with sales representatives, physicians, and administrators at conferences and meetings.
  • Stay updated on scientific and technological developments by attending relevant meetings and conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in training, sales, sales support, or marketing with a training component.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams.
