About the position

As a Sr. Manager, Sales Skills Training, you will be a key member of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) Sales Training team within PSG's Commercial Excellence Group. This role focuses on implementing global sales training programs that empower PSG's commercial sales team, ensuring they are equipped with essential skills to succeed in a competitive market. You will design and deliver innovative training programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a global strategy for sales skills and sales execution as part of the training curriculum for the PSG Sales team.
  • Design and develop innovative sales skills training programs and implement commercially available sales/soft skills programs.
  • Facilitate and deliver engaging training sessions using a blended delivery approach.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Training Team and other departments to identify training needs and tailor solutions.
  • Lead multiple training projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Track and measure the impact of training programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance training programs.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales professionals.

Requirements

  • BA or BS with a minimum of 8+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years' sales experience in diagnostic, healthcare, and/or medical device sales.
  • 5+ years sales training experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and/or medical device sales.
  • Certification or Subject Matter Expert in sales execution and methodologies like DISC and Challenger.
  • Proven experience with instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with field training and sales leader development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with learning management systems and survey platforms.
  • Strong graphic design and instructional design skills.
