The Sales / Use Tax Accountant will play a crucial role in assisting the Global Indirect Tax team, focusing on Sales and Use Tax and Business Personal Property tax filings. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance. The role involves various tasks, including reviewing vendor invoices, preparing tax returns, and supporting tax research inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Global Indirect Tax team with Sales and Use Tax and Business Personal Property tax filings.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy of sales tax.
• Prepare sales and use tax returns.
• Support Line of Business tax research questions.
• Conduct tax forecasting.
• Review and approve journal entries.
• Participate in special projects.

Requirements

• 5 years of Tax experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical & Research Skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong Excel skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Excel.
