About the position

The Vice President of Management Sales at Executive Jet Management (EJM) is responsible for driving growth in the Aircraft Management services sector within a defined regional territory. This role involves aggressive prospecting and relationship-building with qualified management prospects, including corporations and high-net-worth individuals, to expand EJM's market share. The position requires a strong focus on achieving sales quotas while managing expenses and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of EJM's service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and communicate standard and customized Management Services presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate and enter into profitable long-term Management agreements.
  • Meet annual sales quotas established by the Senior VP Aircraft Management Sales and Owner Services while adhering to expense budgets.
  • Expand EJM's Aircraft Management services business through proactive selling techniques, including prospecting.
  • Network with aviation service provider representatives and local business members to generate leads.
  • Manage and document all sales activities within the EJM Sales database system.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity reports detailing sales calls conducted and future sales forecasts.
  • Attend and actively participate in scheduled sales meetings.
  • Provide analysis of territory market potential and competitor intelligence to Senior VP Aircraft Management Sales and Owner Services.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the private aviation industry.
  • Established track record of selling products or services to corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Experience leading a diverse team to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong boardroom presence and presentation skills.
  • Ability to self-generate leads and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail charter sales rather than wholesale charter sales to charter brokers.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
