About the position

We are seeking inclusive and committed Warehouse and Material Handlers to join Frito-Lay, where you will be responsible for various warehouse and production duties. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team that operates 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule. This is a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. The role involves loading and unloading pallets and individual cases to and from trailers, picking appropriate cases according to order using required technology, and safely operating a forklift after receiving training and obtaining certification. You will also be responsible for maintaining general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required. A valid driver's license is preferred for this position. Before starting your application, please ensure you meet the following minimum requirements: You must be 18 years of age or older, and you will be required to work on some weekends, holidays, as well as off shifts. You should be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks such as climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and stretching. Additionally, you should be willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts and in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
  • Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology.
  • Safely operate a forklift after receiving training and obtaining certification.
  • Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required.
