About the position
The Warehouse/Material Handler position at Frito-Lay involves performing various warehouse and production duties in a fast-paced environment. The job includes loading and unloading pallets, operating forklifts, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
- Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology.
- Safely operate a forklift after receiving training and obtaining certification.
- Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
- Maintain general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant.
- Ability to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
