Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and inventory to assist customers effectively.
• Perform stock management tasks, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, particularly regarding cash handling and security measures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment.
• Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and collaborate with team members effectively.
