Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and purchases
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
• Upsell products to customers to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Apply basic math skills during transactions

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store environment, is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is preferred
• Proficiency in upselling techniques to promote products and increase sales
