About the position

We are seeking a motivated sales professional to join our team at SoCal Fence and Barn in Norco, CA. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and helping them identify suitable products for their farm, ranch, or livestock. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and computer skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
• Create and send invoices.
• Collect and capture payments.
• Communicate effectively with customers both in-person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Open/close store and tour customers around our showroom.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Ag/Farm Equipment/Livestock sales role is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
• Basic knowledge of Horse Corrals, Arenas, Round Pens, Mare Motels, cattle working systems, etc.
• Experience with platforms such as Shopify, QuickBooks, Excel, Photoshop, and FinalCut Pro.
• Familiarity with cash handling, processing card payments, and high-level customer service.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to relocate to Norco, CA 92860 before starting work.
