About the position

The Salesforce Admin position at CGI involves supporting the Salesforce team in administering Salesforce applications, driving code, testing, deployment, and documentation efforts for various projects. The role is integral to ensuring the effective use of Salesforce technologies to meet client needs, with a focus on user experience and process automation. This position offers flexibility in location, with a preference for Fairfax, VA, and supports a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Provide Salesforce Administration using modern tools and techniques.
• Develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units.
• Determine unit needs and automate business processes through applications.
• Review steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify software and provide Admin support for Salesforce Applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; or 7 years of related experience.
• 2-4+ years of professional experience with Salesforce Administration.
• Experience in identifying and gathering requirements and translating them into best practices.
• Knowledge of scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on user experience.
• Experience in creating technical documentation and following agile development processes.
• Demonstrated experience creating Salesforce solution roadmaps and defining priorities with stakeholders.
• Some experience in data management to improve Salesforce data quality.
• Experience with APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Platform, Bolt, and MuleSoft programming skills.
• Experience with system integrations using API from Salesforce/MuleSoft Anypoint platform.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in Salesforce (such as Salesforce Developer, Admin, Cloud Consultant, etc.) preferred.
