About the position

We are seeking a Salesforce Admin Consultant for a client located in Ft. Myers. The client prefers candidates who are local to the area, although remote work may be considered based on the strength of the candidate. This role involves working extensively on the Salesforce platform across various business units, configuring platform components, and assisting in resolving integration challenges. The position is contract-based and is situated within the telecom industry, providing an opportunity to engage with a dynamic and evolving sector. As the primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment, the consultant will handle a variety of administrative functions. These include user account maintenance, generating reports and dashboards, managing workflows, and performing other operational tasks essential for the smooth functioning of the Salesforce platform. The consultant will collaborate with different teams to update, configure, and deliver scalable Salesforce Community solutions, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of the business. In addition to administrative duties, the consultant will administer forms using the Form Assembly tool and conduct regular internal system audits to maintain data integrity. They will also assist in resolving integration challenges with other SaaS applications and address any data discrepancies that may arise. The role requires preparing architecture documentation and diagrams, such as data flows across integrations, to support the technical aspects of the Salesforce environment. The consultant will be responsible for researching, identifying, and leveraging enabling technology to support business customers effectively. They will coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests, working closely with the organizational management team to establish suitable processes that support administrative, development, and change management activities. Acting as a liaison between users, vendors, and application development teams, the consultant will create and maintain JIRA user stories to ensure accurate documentation and perform technical grooming as necessary.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using Salesforce Administration tools and Salesforce Lightning Platform is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in Database Management and Configuration Management.
  • Ability to manage Salesforce Environments efficiently, including creating and managing custom objects, fields, and formulas.
  • Solid experience in Salesforce deployments, ensuring the successful delivery of the development work.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Configuration, to customize the platform according to business needs.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Platform to build and manage apps is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
