About the position
The Salesforce Administrator at Innovative Captive Strategies (ICS) is responsible for managing user and license setups, providing end-user support, and implementing Salesforce configuration changes. This role is crucial for enhancing user adoption and ensuring the effective use of Salesforce features within the organization. The position offers an opportunity to grow in a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing to the company's mission of delivering tailored captive insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of user and license management including new user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules.
- Provide end-user support including troubleshooting errors.
- Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including object and field creation, page layouts, record types, and custom settings.
- Monitor end-user adoption and propose ideas to further drive adoption.
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Perform special projects and other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of Salesforce experience.
- Basic knowledge of business practices.
- Strong preference for experience with Java in school or work settings.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with data systems teams.
