About the position

Excelraise, LLC is a rapidly growing full-service IT solutions integrator and talent management company headquartered in Denver, CO. Our valued clients include Fortune 500 companies and Government Agencies. We are currently looking for a qualified individual to work as a Salesforce Administrator / Salesforce Architect with our direct client in Columbia, SC. This is an onsite position, and the Salesforce Administrator certification is required. As a Salesforce Administrator at the Department of Admin, you will play a pivotal role in the daily maintenance, enhancement, and integration of our Salesforce instance. You will be responsible for managing user changes, monitoring workflow queues, and performing various administrative functions to support our business operations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with external integrations, including AWS Connect, ServiceNow, and Azure AD, to ensure seamless data flow and system connectivity. Your responsibilities will include user management, where you will create, modify, and deactivate user accounts, profiles, and permission sets as needed, ensuring user access and security are maintained according to best practices. You will also manage sandbox environments for development, testing, and quality assurance purposes, collaborating with the development team to promote code modifications and updates between environments. Monitoring workflow queues and automation processes will be essential to ensure they are functioning as intended, and you will troubleshoot and resolve any workflow-related issues promptly. Collaboration with teams responsible for external integrations will be crucial, as you will configure and maintain these integrations to ensure data synchronization and system interoperability. You will also focus on identity provider configuration, particularly with Azure AD, for authentication and single sign-on (SSO) functionality within Salesforce, ensuring secure and efficient access management. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, processes, and customizations will be part of your role, along with providing training and support to end users as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Salesforce Administrator certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator).
  • 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong focus on daily maintenance tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Practical experience in creating and managing Salesforce sandbox environments.
  • Proficiency in promoting code modifications and updates between Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with external integrations, including AWS Connect, ServiceNow, and Azure AD.
