About the position

The Salesforce Administrator at Tech Goes Home (TGH) plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing Salesforce functionalities to support the organization's mission of addressing digital inequities. This position involves overseeing data integrity, developing reports and dashboards, and ensuring effective use of Salesforce across various departments. The role also includes project management responsibilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance data systems and communication of impact insights.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of data in Salesforce for internal and external reporting.
  • Manage and optimize all Salesforce functionalities for program data collection, tracking, and reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate system logistics, including designing workflows, managing validation rules, and handling data imports.
  • Develop and customize reports and dashboards for various teams across TGH.
  • Partner with the Learning & Evaluation team to prepare data and analytics for impact reporting.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure effective use of Salesforce for data collection and monitoring.
  • Provide training and upskilling opportunities for staff to enhance Salesforce proficiency.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and integration between Salesforce and complementary platforms.
  • Maintain consistent communication cross-departmentally to align Salesforce functionalities with organizational needs.
  • Manage Salesforce consultants and/or Learning & Evaluation interns as needed.
  • Lead or co-lead data meetings to address organizational needs related to Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Evaluation to prepare data insights for impact communication.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date library of Salesforce-generated data and reports.
  • Assist in creating visualizations and presentation materials to communicate data insights.
  • Oversee project-related logistics for Salesforce-related projects.
  • Promote continuous improvement by implementing and documenting new features or system processes in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • At minimum, 2 years of experience in job duties related to data, evaluation, or system administration.
  • Familiarity with Form Assembly (or other surveying software).
  • Strong proficiency using Excel and G-Suite, advanced statistical ability a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrates accountability for assigned projects, with proactive problem-solving skills in data and system management.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with effective time management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and priorities in a dynamic work environment.

  • Previous experience in nonprofits a plus
