About the position

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day end-user support within Salesforce, performing administration tasks, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the platform's capabilities. This role serves as a key resource for Salesforce-related inquiries and will involve mentoring junior team members while ensuring data integrity and user experience improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Be a go-to person for the Salesforce platform.
  • Mentor junior team member.
  • Respond to helpdesk requests related to Salesforce.
  • Manage user creation, profile, and access privileges for new users.
  • Partner with other business and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into capability/platform roadmaps.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support including system configuration, complex formulas, and system maintenance.
  • Focus on providing improved data integrity and staff/customer user experience.
  • Manage daily administration of multiple user setups, profiles, roles, and customizations.
  • Work with co-workers and supervisors on technical issues while maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Create custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, flows, lead routing rules, and approval processes within Salesforce.
  • Partner with management, marketing staff, and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
  • Define and implement scalable technical solutions using Salesforce technologies.
  • Stay current on Salesforce integration tools, best practices, releases, and new features.
  • Prioritize, plan, and execute special projects including reporting, data clean-up, and user management.
  • Identify potential training needs of all EMC Staff and create documentation on processes and policies.
  • Help maintain accuracy of all data within the Salesforce system(s).
  • Assist with the development and creation of customized reports and dashboards.
