About the position

The Salesforce Administrator will join the CRM team to support sales, marketing, and business operations by delivering technical Salesforce solutions. This hybrid role involves optimizing sales processes and maintaining Verisk's Salesforce CRM instances, ensuring effective integration with key systems. The position requires collaboration across various teams to enhance operational efficiencies and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Salesforce administrative functions like user account maintenance, creating/updating profiles, rules, reports, dashboards, workflows, and process builder.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to set up/modify assignment rules, escalation rules, auto response rules, macros, queues, fields, objects, and enable live agent and email-to-case.
  • Provide/manage knowledge articles, content, and surveys.
  • Aid in implementing service packs, upgrades, and server changes.
  • Support Salesforce and third-party application integrations with various tools.
  • Partner with different teams to understand business/data requirements and build out development requirements, related processes, team training, and infrastructure.
  • Design automated processes to improve efficiency with scale and lean design.
  • Work closely with acquisitions and subsidiaries to consolidate and migrate Salesforce instances.
  • Maintain and manage data quality/integrity of Salesforce data through regular audits and maintenance.
  • Assist end-users in troubleshooting and provide hands-on support and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field like Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator required.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, LWC development, and data management.
  • Experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment.
  • Solid understanding of translating business processes to technical requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or user challenges.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Administrator and/or Business Analyst certification a plus.
  • Experience with Einstein Analytics, Icertis CRM, and omni channel is a plus.
