Responsibilities

• Source, collect, and clean third-party data for financial analysis and modeling.
• Clean, structure, and standardize data for financial analysis.
• Work with large data sets, including numeric and categorical data, customer transaction data, and other data sets used for investment decisions.
• Develop financial models and projections.
• Maintain, update, and build internal code libraries.
• Refine generative AI models to assist with the analysis of financial documents.
• Communicate quantitative insights from complex statistical techniques to a non-technical audience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Management Science, or a closely related technical field.
• 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role within the financial industry.
• Experience in cleaning, structuring, and standardizing data for financial analysis.
• Experience working with large data sets used for public and private investment decisions.
• Experience in developing financial models and projections.
• Experience maintaining and updating internal code libraries.
• Experience refining generative AI models for financial document analysis.
• Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, cloud computing technologies, AI models, and machine learning technologies.
