About the position

The Salesforce Application Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Newmar Salesforce Org. This role involves collaborating with users, product owners, and stakeholders to understand system needs and enhance the Salesforce capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive project work related to Salesforce applications.
  • Provide administration and support of Salesforce application including user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, security configuration, data loading, manipulation, and data analysis.
  • Manage Salesforce configuration changes including custom fields, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, and overall system configuration.
  • Implement new enhancements such as custom objects, flows, email alerts and templates, data validation, assignment rules, and approval processes.
  • Translate business requirements and user stories into functional design.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes and application configuration as enhancements are made.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to learn new technical skills and improve current digital solutions or processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application integration issues.
  • Provide technical support and testing for application users.
  • Manage incident management by troubleshooting and resolving user requests and system issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in user acceptance testing and facilitate implementation of new functionality and CRM enhancements through communications, demos, and user training.
  • Provide detailed application information to development, testing, and business team stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain multiple tier Salesforce development environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of technology-related experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years Salesforce administration and configuration experience with a focus on Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and Knowledge.
  • Salesforce Certified credential is beneficial.
  • Experience with the Jira platform is beneficial.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice and Vonage integrated phone systems is beneficial.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of applications such as Rollick Aimbase, Hubspot, Survey Monkey, PowerBI, Workday is a plus.
