About the position

The Salesforce Application Architect role is a contract position focused on designing and implementing technology solutions that align with business objectives. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate technologies, and provide technical guidance to development teams. This position requires a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, integration technologies, and a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture and document the overall architecture of technology solutions.
• Gather requirements by collaborating with stakeholders such as business project managers and end-users.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams during implementation.
• Ensure the technology solution meets performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to the solution and mitigate them.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technology solution and its components.
• Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices.
• Supervise and assist with database design, configuration, and integration mapping.
• Develop proof of concepts to validate new architecture and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or business analyst role.
• 5 years of strong operational experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in wireframing system designs using process flow tools.
• Understanding of middleware solutions like Kafka and MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in writing SOQL statements and debugging skills.
