About the position

The Salesforce Application Developer will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the Salesforce Provider Portal within the NC FAST application. This role requires extensive experience with various Salesforce platforms and technologies, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions to meet the needs of the State of NC.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and enhancement of the Salesforce Provider Portal.
• Utilize Salesforce Platform Community, Service Cloud, and Gov Cloud for application development.
• Implement Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL) for data manipulation.
• Develop and maintain applications using Shield and Lightning technologies.
• Write and maintain code in object-oriented languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby.
• Apply Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and component-based architecture in development.
• Conduct requirements analysis and business process design to improve application functionality.
• Create and manage Salesforce Flows for process automation.
• Develop Lightning components using both Aura and LWC frameworks.
• Utilize Copado Release Management for deployment processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce application development.
• Proficient in Salesforce Platform Community, Service Cloud, and Gov Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).
• Experience with Shield and Lightning technologies.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby.
• Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and component-based architecture.
• Strong skills in requirements analysis and business process design.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows for process automation.
• Experience in developing Lightning components (Aura and LWC).
• Familiarity with Copado Release Management and Ownbackup.
