About the position

The Salesforce Architect will play a crucial role in the Commercial IT team, focusing on supporting Sales and Marketing through the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, as well as the ability to provide strategic guidance on Salesforce capabilities and integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will not only implement Salesforce solutions but also evaluate alternative tools and options to meet business objectives effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and robust Salesforce solutions that meet the business needs of the Sales and Marketing teams.
• Ensure that architectural designs are aligned with industry best practices and company standards.
• Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Develop and maintain integration strategies that support business processes and data integrity.
• Provide strategic recommendations on the use of Salesforce versus other solutions, ensuring the optimal use of technology.
• Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features and capabilities that can enhance business operations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing teams, to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Salesforce solutions are effectively integrated into the broader IT landscape.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for other team members, providing guidance and support on Salesforce-related projects.
• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce developments and industry trends to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of technology.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations and integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, integration processes, and system configurations.
• Ensure that all Salesforce implementations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field required.
• 7+ years of relevant architecture experience required (Salesforce, Business process, Sales & Marketing, Commercial IT).
• Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams and understand their business processes.
• Experience in solution architecture and strategic planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of business process implementation.
• Experience with Agile methodology, Azure, and .net.
• Project management skills.
