About the position

3Ci is seeking a Salesforce Architect in an exciting opportunity to lead a significant Salesforce implementation for a prominent organization. This role will initially be confidential, with details about the client disclosed during the interview process. As a Salesforce Architect, you will have substantial experience in Salesforce architecture, integration, and technical leadership. This is a remote opportunity for the ideal candidate residing in or near Atlanta, GA. In the first 90 days, you will be expected to understand project requirements, establish a technical roadmap, and begin initial implementation phases. By 180 days, you will oversee the progress of the implementation, ensure alignment with business objectives, and address any emerging challenges. Within a year, you will complete the Salesforce implementation, achieve full integration, and optimize the system for performance and scalability. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Salesforce architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance; designing solutions leveraging Salesforce capabilities to meet business requirements; leading the development and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and data migrations; and working with business leaders to gather requirements and define project scope. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, design and implement integrations with other enterprise systems, ensure data integrity, oversee data migration activities, and establish best practices for Salesforce development and usage, ensuring compliance with security policies and data privacy regulations. Continuous improvement is key, as you will stay updated with Salesforce releases and industry trends, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and industry trends, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce architecture and development experience with 2 - 3 large scale greenfield implementations.
  • Experience in retail or direct-to-consumer sectors (i.e., The Home Depot, Grainer).
  • Experience with API management and ETL tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica.
  • Strong experience with technologies like node.js, Angular, APEX, .NET.
  • Hands-on experience in leading large-scale Salesforce programs, including integrations, data architecture, and security design.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Sales Cloud.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent.
  • Other Salesforce certifications.
  • Master's degree.
